A mood journal you keep by voice

Just talk, and
the day’s feelings
stay with you.

Tap the mic and say how you feel, in one sentence.
Kimocchi reads the feelings in your words and puts them in that day’s box.
Later, look back on the calendar and over the week.

Six feelings

One sentence holds
more than one feeling

Even on a day you said “I’m tired”, a little joy is mixed in.
Kimocchi sorts your words into six feelings and puts them in your box as little ones.

How it works

Three steps, that’s all

  1. 01
    Talking into the mic

Tap the mic, say a little

You don’t have to say it well. One sentence about how you feel is enough.

  2. 02
    The feelings Kimocchi read

    Feelings become little ones

Kimocchi reads the feelings in your words, and little ones join that day’s box.

  3. 03
    The calendar

    Look back later

Every day you spoke gets a face. Look back on the calendar and over the week.

Features

The days you talked,
there to look back on

Home screen with little ones gathered in the day’s box
01

The day’s feelings
gather in a box

Each time you talk, little ones join that day’s box. A day you talked a lot fills up; a one-sentence day keeps one sentence’s worth. One look at the box tells you what kind of day it was.

Calendar with a face on each day you spoke
02

Look back by calendar
and by week

Every day you spoke gets the face of its strongest feeling. Below the calendar, the past week lines up side by side — “How was I last week?” at a glance.

A day opened up
03

Open a day: your voice
and your words

Find what you said, the feelings in it, and the recording if you kept it. What you said can become a diary entry in your own words — nothing made up and added.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is Kimocchi?

A feelings journal that reads the feelings in what you say and keeps each day. Six feelings gather in that day’s box as cute little ones, and you can look back on the calendar and over the week.

What if I can’t put it into words?

That’s fine — one sentence is enough. Messy thoughts and small complaints you wouldn’t tell anyone are welcome as they are.

Where are my voice and records stored?

Your voice is turned into text by your device’s speech recognition and is never sent to Kimocchi’s servers. Recordings, text and feelings are saved on your device. Only when “Read with AI” is on, the text is sent to Gemini on Google Cloud, with no name or email attached. See the privacy policy for details.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. Get it from the App Store on iPhone, or from Google Play on Android.

Does it cost anything?

You can install it and start right away. Longer look-backs (one month to one year) and exporting your records come with the paid VIP plan.

Can it diagnose an illness?

No. Kimocchi is not a medical device, and the feelings it reads are not a medical assessment. If you keep feeling unwell, please talk to a medical professional.
